HUMAN BIOSPECIMENS
“Inventory Lists”
Often Requested by our clients; likely because other vendors buy and re-sell tissue and aggregate an inventory into a ”list” or Excel sheet.
Such companies are often brokers – buying/reselling tissues.
Such samples are often derived from second and third world countries.
Avaden has access to more than 35,000,000 surgeries, many of which have more than 350 data points from 10-15 years of patient history.
It would be impossible to aggregate this information into a list.
EMRs at our clinics are heterogenous and the scale of the data is too large.
We’d rather ask for detailed customer specifications, which we match against our millions of EMR records to find matches.
All samples are US-derived under CLIA/CAP protocols and guaranteed to meet customer specifications.
Country of Origin
Samples are derived from US sources have embedded protections through US Federal Law / HHS (HIPAA).
Avaden is required to administer consent processes and ensure IRB approved protocols at every clinic with annual renewals.
Samples derived from second and third world countries have no such statutes to protect patients and are often devoid of any ethical protections.
Pre-analytics
Can the vendor verify the pre-analytics, which are crucial for molecular assays and validation? Oftentimes, no, since they don’t have access to the actual clinic.
Avaden establishes the research protocol inside CLIA and CAP accredited US facilities with rigid protocols, storage, and sample monitoring.
